A Little Adventure with the Silbernick Family

I spend a gorgeous Sunday morning with the Silberick family. We started out at a historical bridge over looking the Crow River, then we headed to a picturesque field and finished up a beautiful old church. The weather was perfect and we had a ton of fun. I love catching up my clients and hearing about life.

I can’t believe how much Savannah has grown up in the last year! She is such a sweet girl and a great big sister.

A Saturday Morning with the Goedker Family

I met the Goedker family on a beautiful but chilly Saturday morning at Henry’s Woods.

I have taken photos of the Goedker family off and on for about five years, and I was thrilled to learn that their family had grown since the last time I saw them.

Beckett was added to the line-up.! This photo session was to capture some family photos but also to celebrate Beckett’s First Birthday! (His smash cake session will be available soon!)

Brian, Nicole, Brenden, Brady, and Beckett are HUGE baseball fans! Brian, Brenden, and Brady all play in Baseball Leagues. They love baseball so much that Brenden and Brady were playing catch while I was taking photos of Beckett!

I love this photo – of course, I strive to capture photos where everybody is looking at me with a perfect smile, but that isn’t always a reality. What I love about this photo is the expression on Beckett’s face – he is excited and clapping trying to get his big brothers attention! So even though it might not be a perfect photo, it’s a perfect reflection of this time in their lives.

I know you are thinking it so that I will say it – yes, Brenden, Brady, and Beckett could be triplets, just born a few years apart! Adorable – I know!

Brenden is nine and 1/2, the 1/2 is important!

Brady has what I call a quiet smile – he gives just enough to make you wonder what he is up to……And those gorgeous BIG brown eyes – look out ladies!

Arbor Lakes Chalk Fest 2017!

Last year I missed the first Arbor Lakes Chalk Fest, so I decided this year I was going no matter what! The forecast wasn’t on my side: Saturday called for a high of 96 with strong winds, and Sunday called for strong thunderstorms – gross either way. Choices, choices……I figured the best bet was Sunday afternoon, and I was right! It was a perfect day (after the horrible thunderstorms in the morning) for being outside and watching talented artists create one of a kind chalk art.

Anna Murrow Photography There were some amazing and creative original chalk art pieces.

I was in Awe – I mean AWWWE! I was blown away by the artist’s abilities to create such beautiful pieces of artwork with chalk!

Disney was represented well!

All in all, it was a great afternoon filled with friends and talented artists! I would highly recommend stopping by next year; you won’t regret it!

PS- I was surprised and thrilled to watch a performance by The Kalpulli KetzalCoatlicue Aztec dancers. They were unbelievable – so incredible they deserve their very own blog post……coming soon!

The Newest Addition to the Davis Family!

On Friday, May 26th, 2017 the world welcomed Vincent Maurice Davis.

I’m honored that Kati and Maurice invited me into their home and asked me to capture such an important time for their family.

Phillips Spring Photo Session

On a Spring afternoon, I met the Phillips family at Fish Lake Park Reserve to capture some family photos.

It was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, and I was thrilled to be outside and capturing photos of David, Kristy, Della, and Dawson.

At first, Della was a little apprehensive but I won her over, and before I knew it, she wanted to be in all the photos! She was very helpful with making her brother, Dawson smile.

Oh Dawson, sweet little Dawson with his piercing blue eyes. Dawson is at a fun age – he is almost one, so he is a mover and a shaker! I can’t wait to take his 1st birthday smash cake next month- something tells me we are going to have a lot of fun!
